Who We Are

Freedom Dog Teams was born out of a need for service dogs for all people.  Other organizations specialize in providing dogs only for specific occupations while Freedom Dog Teams provides for everyone with a need.  The dogs we use can be any dog that has the correct temperament, but we specialize in rescue dogs.  So it's a winning situation for the dogs as well as the recipients.

Why Us?

We use positive reinforcement training methods which means we use LIMA (Least intrusive and minimally aversive).  There are a lot of trainers using punishment as a training method on service dogs.  We do not do that!

Our head trainer holds a CPDT-KA  from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers.  That means she follows a code of ethics and has her knowledge assessed by an official organization.
